Welcome to SKIP. Central Plateau REAP has developed a SKIP Project to promote the SKIP message of positive parenting and effective non physical discipline. We are now into our third year (2009) of delivering this project and feedback from all participants has been excellent.
Radio advertisements featuring SKIP TIPS on parenting will play throughout the year. Listen out for these on More FM.
SKIP Parenting Stories will be told in our REAP REPORT once per term which is published in the Taupo Times.
REAP will hold eight SKIP workshops in Taupo, Mangakino and surrounding rural areas. Please call REAP to register for a workshop near you. These workshops are FREE for all parents, grandparents or caregivers of children aged between 0-5 years. There are FREE creches provided at each workshop. Please feel free to call us if you have any special needs or ideas on the best time/place for parents to access our workshops.
REAP will also attend three community events throughout the year to promote SKIP and distribute FREE parenting material.
